Delivery and Return/Refund Policies

All Payments for the online purchasing through Book Point Website need to be made through the available payment modes upon checkout. You will be directed to relevant payment verification pages for payment upon confirmation of the order.

 

You may collect your order through any one of the following ways:

 

Self-Collect – Bras Basah Complex, #02-69 [Monday to Sunday except National Holidays – 11am to 6pm]

Delivery – Delivered within 5-9 working days. Delivery Fee: (??)

 

Remarks:

 

In the event of unsuccessful delivery (E.g. No one is at the delivery location to collect the parcel), a note will be left by our delivery contractor. Follow the instructions and communicate with the contractor to arrange for another delivery date.

 

When an order is delivered but there is no one to receive the goods, our courier would leave a note informing customer to contact our shipper for free re-delivery arrangement. Our shipper will make up to 2 free re-delivery attempts. If all re-delivery are unsuccessful, the item shall be delivered back to Book Point. A re-delivery charge of $7 will be imposed to customer for a new delivery attempt. Alternatively, customer can choose to self-collect at our retail Store.

 

You would be required to choose one of the two collection methods and acknowledge the payment method before proceeding to make the payment.

 

All books sold are not returnable, exchangeable or refundable except when

• Products received are different from what is stated on the invoice; i.e. wrong goods are delivered.

• Product is found to be damaged.

 

In the event that the book/s received is/are different from what is stated on the invoice, you are to inform us through (Contact details) within 3 calendar days from collection date. A replacement copy of the correct title would be reserved for your collection at our retail store during which you would need to return us the incorrect book. If there are no replacement copies available, a full refund will be provided.

 

In the event that the book has physical defects (e.g. missing pages, damaged upon collection), you are to inform us through (Contact details) within 3 calendar days from collection date. A replacement copy of the same title would be reserved for your collection at our retail store during which you would need to return us the defect book. If there are no replacement copies available, a full refund will be provided.

 

Upon delivering the order, the person who receives the goods will be required to sign on the shipper acknowledgement slip.

 

As Book Point primarily sells second-books, it reserves the right to not accept the requests for a replacement copy or a refund on the “damaged book” basis.

 

Book Point reserves the right to amend the Policies without any prior notice.
